What is a trademark?

  • A trademark is a word, phrase, symbol or design, or a combination of words, phrases, symbols or designs, that identifies and distinguishes the source of the goods of one party from those of others.
  • A specimen is an actual example of how you are using the mark in commerce on or in connection with the identified goods and/or services.
  • If a particular style, design or logo is important, you must select the "stylized or special form" drawing format.
  • A person who is properly authorized to sign a verification on behalf of the applicant is a person with legal authority to bind the applicant.

Full Tilt Riders™

Full Tilt Riders™ was founded on December 1, 2003 by a group, hereby called the Founding Members, of the Parent Chapter (Portland) of Full Tilt Riders™. On December 1, 2003, we established our trademark rights by the legitimate use of the name and of 2-logos associated with the name Full Tilt Riders.

  1. The Full Tilt Rider mark is presented in standard character format without claim to any particular font style, size or color. Any use of the name Full Tilt Riders is covered.

  2. The following logos are associated with the Full Tilt Rider trademark and are therefore also protected by trademark rights. Any and all variations to said logos are also protected.
  3. The branding on official Bylaws, patch, decals, as well as, this website and various promotional advertisements Past Events are "specimens" documenting first use of the name and logos of Full Tilt Riders.
  4. As President and Founder of the Parent Chapter of Full Tilt Riders, I reserve legal authority with respect to the Trademark rights of Full Tilt Riders.
