GENERAL RULES FOR GROUP RIDING

  • a. Maintain and check your vehicle before rides.
    b. Be legal and carry your paperwork.
    c. Carry the club contact list & emergency numbers during rides.
  • Be on time for rides and scheduled events.
    a. Do not miss the ride briefing.
    b. Call if you are going to be more than 10 minutes late.

  • When passing other vehicles wait for an opportunity for several bikes to pass and keep up speed so that there is enough room for other group members to fall in behind you.
  • Do not break off the route or leave the group without letting someone know.
  • Do not perform stunts in the middle of the pack.
  • Always ride in a staggered formation in the straights and single file in the twisties.
    a. As the speed increases, increase the space between riders.
    b. Make sure you can see the visor of the rider ahead of you in HIS mirror.
  • Do not make a turn in the route without being SURE that the person behind you knows to make that turn or take that exit.
